AEROPHILE SPEAKER AT IAAPA EXPO EUROPE 2025, BARCELONA

During a 20-minute EduTalk conference, Jérôme Giacomoni, co-founder of Aerophile, had the privilege of sharing his experience in creating the Paris 2024 Olympic cauldron, for which Aerophile, EDF, and designer Matthieu Lehanneur replaced the traditional flame with a helium-filled tethered balloon carrying an electric “flame,” eliminating combustion and CO₂ emissions.

This presentation revealed how innovation, engineering, and environmental responsibility combined to create an iconic symbol of unity and hope with minimal environmental impact, setting a new standard for sustainable celebrations around the world.
