The Fondation du Souffle has just unveiled the second edition of \u201cRegards sur le Souffle,\u201d its annual survey on the respiratory health of the French population, during a press conference at the Ballon Generali in Paris. The findings are clear: even though 74% of French people say they are better informed, risky behaviors persist. 44% report at least one respiratory symptom, and 63% are exposed to at least one irritant on a daily basis.<\/p>\n

Knowing the risks is not enough. The challenge is to turn information into instinct. With this in mind, the Ballon Generali has installed a pollen monitoring device aboard its gondola, which provides the general public with real-time information via the Ballon\u2019s website. This represents a direct contribution to research and information on air quality right in the heart of Paris, complementing the measurements of fine particulate matter, ozone, and major greenhouse gases taken by the Ballon.<\/p>\n

This collaboration between Aerophile and the Fondation du Souffle perfectly illustrates how innovation and a commitment to health can go hand in hand. Because we can only protect what we know, every flight of the Ballon Generali generates data that serves our collective health.<\/p>\n
