Taiwan welcomes its first Aerophile tethered balloon in a spectacular natural setting on Mount Juju, in Nantou County, at the foot of the island’s highest mountains.
\nThe Nantou County Government has built a dedicated leisure park called \u201cJioujioufeng Helium Balloon Park,\u201d offering a magnificent panoramic view of the Jiujiufeng Mountains and Niaozuitan Lake.
\nThe Aerophile balloon was purchased, imported, and installed by our client, Taiwanese hot air balloon specialist SkyRainbow Airlines CO., LTD, whom we sincerely thank for their trust.
\nA pre-opening will take place from February 17 to March 8, followed by a general opening on March 9. The balloon is 34 meters high and can carry up to 30 passengers. It rises naturally into the air thanks to helium. It goes up silently to an altitude of about 160 meters (with the possibility of rising to 300 meters depending on weather conditions), offering breathtaking views of the mountains.
\nUnlike hot air balloons, which rise by heating the air with a flame and drift with the wind, Aerophile balloons are tethered, i.e., connected to the ground by a cable. They rise vertically to offer a 360\u00ba view, using the buoyancy of helium, a gas that is lighter than air and non-flammable. These balloons are therefore much less sensitive to weather conditions than hot air balloons, allowing the public to fly at various times of the day.<\/p>\n
