The City of Paris has chosen the tethered balloon to celebrate the year 2000! Just back things, since the first balloon with passengers flew to Paris in 1783, and the first tethered balloon was installed in 1878. The balloon takes off from Parc Andr\u00e9 Citro\u00ebn, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.
