Gyeongju & Hambourg's balloon

Published 2005/09/28

A summer of balloons like never before for Aerophile with the installation of the first two Aero 30NG’s on land with its simplified mooring system of just 8 points. The first Aero 30NG was installed at Disney earlier this year, but over water!

The new balloons were installed at Gyeongju, South Korea and Hamburg in Germany.

These two new balloons, bring the total of 30 passenger balloons installed around the world by Aerophile to 32, and increase the fleets already operating in these two countries. As a matter of fact Germany now has a community of three balloons flying at Berlin, Mylau & Hamburg. South Korea now has two at Gyeongju and Jeju Island.

You might also note that the Korean balloons were recently subject to a devastating typhoon, but came through without any damage or breakdown whatsoever proving once again the efficiency of the storm mooring system developed by Aerophile.
